Last Day on Chios

Most of this day was spent on the beach.  At the end of the day (6pm) we went to the town of Chios, had some coffee with friends, and then explored the Castle.  We went in through the main gate and walked around this inhabited castle.  We had dinner in the plateia, found a Turkish bath, and generally enjoyed the evening.  The evening ended as we boarded our 11:30pm boat, went to our cabins with more sets of bunk beds, and snuggled in for the night.

Turkish graveyard in the castle.  The tombstones with turbans represent "hadji" or men who made the pilgrimage to Mecca.
