Ephesus

Yesterday we went to Turkey for the day.  I've never been, so was very excited.  We entered through the port of Kusadasi and then went inland a few miles to see the ancient city of Ephesus.  It was originally Greek, but the ruins are mostly Roman.  There is a lot left because it was covered in silt for hundreds of years, and a significant amount has been restored, so you get a much better sense of what the city might have looked like... this one isn't just foundation stones.
