The Bellybutton of the Earth

This is it... the actual omphalos, or navel of the world, according to the Greeks.  Zeus sent two ravens from the opposite ends of the world to find the center, and they met in Delphi.  This is the bellybutton itself, and it turns out it is an outie.

The rock of the Sybil

We played out the scene from My Life in Ruins the really sweet Nia Vardalos film with Richard Dreyfuss.  We found the rock they pretended was the oracle, and played oracle.  This is the oracle's view:

And here is one of the students playing the oracle.  We weren't as serious as Richard Dreyfuss, but we aren't as old, either.
