Just to make you all feel better about any driving trips you are planning this summer. This is the currrent gas price in Athens. Of course you know it is in Euros, so you take the price and multiply it by about 1.5. Sounds ok, right? But that is the price per LITER! And there are almost 4 liters per gallon. Depending on the current exchange rate, that is about $6.42 per gallon... Yikes! I'll never complain about American gas prices again.
