Weekend trips

We are packing a lot into our last days.  Here are a few photos from Sounion:
Jeremiah in a rare moment of quiet.

Dana not taking a picture yet.

And then on Sunday, Aegina.  Our two beach days.
Waiting for the boat to Aegina
A trip to a temple and then Agios Nektarios, an enormous modern church.
"Please dress decently to enter our church" means shoulders and knees covered.
Then some time wandering around before our group lunch.

Aegina fish market:  fresh, fresh!
Then Phil took the stalwart on an optional trip to the little ruins by the beach.
The heroes conquer Colonna.
Then some beach time and some more time wandering the isle.
Fruit boats.

And this weekend, the temples just keep getting better and better.  Sounion is gorgeous, sports Byron's graffiti signature, and has the most spectacular location of any temple I've ever seen.

But then Aegina's is the most complete temple I've ever seen!
